The Lansdowne Hotel is a well-known Sydney pub and live music venue located in Chippendale. We are looking for an experienced Venue Manager to oversee daily operations and lead the team.
About the Role The Venue Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the venue, including bar operations, staff, customer service, events, compliance and overall venue performance.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily venue operations, including bar, floor, events and live music nights.
• Lead, train and support venue staff.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and venue presentation.
• Manage rostering, staff performance and labour costs.
• Oversee stock control, ordering and supplier coordination.
• Monitor sales, costs and venue performance.
• Ensure compliance with RSA, liquor licensing, WHS and company policies.
• Handle customer feedback, complaints and venue incidents.
• Work with the events and entertainment team to support functions and live music.

About You The successful applicant will have:

• Previous experience as a Venue Manager, Assistant Venue Manager or Duty Manager - at least one year
• Experience in a pub, bar, hotel or busy hospitality venue.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good understanding of licensed venue operations and RSA requirements.
• Ability to manage staff, stock, service standards and daily operations.
• relevant Diploma qualification

Permanent full time role with a starting salary between $80K - $85K (plus super).
