CSM Operations Associate
The Motel Operations Associate will be entrenched in the day-to-day operations of the motel ensuring what happens behind the scenes translates into an excellent experience for guests. This person should have experience in leading coordination of schedules and activities across a small business or multiple small teams, leading projects that enhance processes, and communicating updates or changes to co-workers in various ways (in-person, email, text, etc.). Having a unique set of skills ranging from facility maintenance, working within spreadsheet trackers, and/or exposure to guest reservation systems (or similar software) will enable this individual to contribute across various motel operations. The ideal candidate will be driven by a desire to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities will include:
Plan, coordinate and execute day-to-day hotel operations maintaining high motel standards
Be hands-on in organizing the housekeeping team and other staff’s scheduling, logistics, transportation
Drive training and cross-training amongst staff ensuring our guests experience remains a high standard
Compile and total time cards for all hourly employees, complete and deliver to Director of Operations weekly
Become fully versed in front desk operations and cover as needed
Monitor costs for all functions related to day-to-day operations and report updates to Director of Operations on a consistent basis
Track supply inventory, own basic procurement, maintain food stock, ordering of required supplies and maintenance schedules
Uphold and recommend best-practices that ensure service standards are maintained; ensure staff are properly instructed and adhering to these policies and procedures
Work with management regarding guest feedback
Be aware of and communicate opportunities to enhance the guest experience with Director of Operations and Front Desk Manager
Work closely with front desk to plan week-to-week accordingly
Weekly meeting with manager, Director of Operations
Weekly email to management summarizing:
Key accomplishments for the week
Plans for the following week based on occupancy, weather, and/or other activities happening at the motel
Issues and blockers
Ad hoc transportation of staff or picking up supplies (valid driver's license and clean driving record required)
Ad hoc moving of supplies or equipment, comfort and ability to do so
Schedule:
Hourly schedule 5-6 days a week - typically 8 hours on site, pending seasonality
Early April to late October
Will need to work holidays and weekends during peak season
Can expect 40+ hours per week from April to October (weekly schedule will be aligned with Director of Operations on a weekly basis)
You are entitled to an hour lunch break as well as 30-min breaks every six hours

Requirements
Experience in management preferred. Experience in hospitality industry required. Entry level position.
