ABOUT THE ROLE

Working with our General Manager, you will be taking this iconic venue into its new chapter, you will be a key part in implementing changes to our service style, bringing the 200-seat dining room to a new level of service not seen at the Portsea Hotel for many years.

Morris Hospitality is seeking a Restaurant Manager looking to grow their career, and to make their mark at one of Australia's leading hotels.

To be considered for the position you must possess the following.

• At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Sound background in a table service environment with high-quality, high-volume food and beverage
• Drive and maintain high levels of service with a focus on guest experience whilst elevating the venue's profile
• Problem solving and complaint resolution
• Ability to liaise with the Kitchen team
• Manage staff and drive growth of the team, this may include rostering and recruitment
• Implement and train staff in sequence of service and standards
• Ability to build, lead and motivate your team effectively
• A passion for food/drinks and a strong interest in industry trends
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage large and complex teams
• An understanding of H&L, Ivvy and SevenRooms a bonus
• Current RSA
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and peak holiday times
